Welcome
I am excited about writing and engaging an audience. This is also an opportunity to share my adventures in life – mountain tops and valleys; green lush paradises and deserts. We all walk through them, if you get to live long enough. People have often said that I am a deep thinker. Hmm What does that mean? I also want to wrestle with all kinds of issues. I hope you will give me feedback and engage. I can learn from that.
Who am I?
I am a man, a father (six children – three boys and three girls), single again (divorce a few years back, never thought that would happen) an adventurer, a beloved son of The Father (Jesus follower). I have made mistakes and done a few things right. I love the outdoors and being active. My favorite is backpacking and taking people with me to experience all the adventure that awaits. I also snowboard, hike, ski, fish, build things, fixing things and really don’t like sitting except at the end of a hard adventurous day around a warm fire sharing stories. I love to tinker with things and build things – forts, tree houses, homes, furniture, etc.
